Be Your Own Hero - An In-Person Creative Storytelling & AI Art Workshop [ages 7 - 15]

Live, instructor-led group event · Ages: 8-13 - Maximum of 12 students : 90 minutes<br><br>This workshop introduces children to the foundations of storytelling in a fun, creative, and highly collaborative environment. Students learn core story elements, including heroes, villains, plot, and setting, while co-creating a shared story together.  <br><br>Led by Professor Dr. BumbleBrain, a playful, in-character storytelling professor who guides sessions with humor and encouragement, helping kids feel relaxed and excited to share their ideas. <br><br>Children begin exploring simple prompting exercises, discovering how descriptive language shapes story development and AI-generated illustrations. Public speaking is introduced through coached story sharing, helping students build confidence as they present their ideas.<br><br>Children participate verbally and creatively with the facilitator, there is no typing, and kids do not use AI tools directly. All technology is guided by the facilitator in a safe, age-appropriate way, while children focus on creativity, collaboration, and expressing their ideas.

In this live, guided storytelling adventure, kids team up with AI as their thinking partner to invent characters, build worlds, and write a short story that's entirely based on their own ideas. Guided by the playful and encouraging Coco, your child's AI thinking partner, with a real human facilitator checking in live, online, at every milestone, so campers get real-time guidance, not a self-paced course.<br><br>By camp's end, your camper finishes a short story, formatted and ready to self-publish on Amazon if you choose, with families keeping every cent of any royalties earned. Live, instructor-led group event · Small Groups - Maximum of 12 students<br><br>Our Space Camp Storytelling Adventure builds on foundational storytelling skills while introducing space and astronomy themes, turning children into Space Storytellers as they explore stars, planets, and cosmic adventures through guided creative storytelling. Students collaborate to create a shared space-based story world, invent characters, and craft scenes inspired by astronomy concepts. Participants also help update our own authored children’s astronomy books, giving them a real-world glimpse into the creative editing process.<br><br>Children explore simple prompting exercises to see how descriptive language shapes AI-generated illustrations. Public speaking is introduced through coached story sharing to build confidence presenting ideas.  <br><br>Participants who join the public speaking portion will also experience a short Virtual Reality astronomy journey, allowing them to explore space in an immersive, awe-inspiring environment.

AI StoryLab In-Person Camp: Creative Storytelling & Young Authors [4 days - 2 hours per day]

[12 student maximum- 10 student minimum] (Ages: 6-9 | 8-10 | 10-13 | 8 hours (4 days)<br>Content automatically adjusts to your child's reading level, so kids ages 8–13 can all join and get an experience suited to them.<br><br>AI StoryLabs is an in-person 4-day creative storytelling camp for students in Grades 3–6 where kids use AI as a thinking partner to invent characters, build worlds, and write stories that are entirely their own. By the end of the camp, campers will have become real published authors, using AI to guide them through a self-publishing process. Each camper will also take home a printed copy of a group anthology that is a snapshot of everyone's work, as a keepsake they helped create. Designed around pairing and spoken sharing to reduce tech anxiety, the session culminates in participants reading their finished pieces aloud and leaving with something real to keep. The goal is to make AI feel personal and approachable rather than overwhelming.

Lil' Learners: In-Person AI Art & Kamishibai : A Parent-Child Journey [Ages 5-7: $450 per workshop]

Families create a simple, exciting story with heroes, villains, and adventures through hands-on activities and guided AI image creation. Led by Professor Dr. BumbleBrain, a playful, in-character storytelling professor who guides sessions with humor and encouragement, helping kids feel relaxed and and excited to share their ideas. <br><br>The session includes a Kamishibai Japanese picture-card storytelling experience, fostering imagination, listening, and emotional connection to storytelling.<br><br>Children participate verbally and creatively with the facilitator, there is no typing, and kids do not use AI tools directly.
