Stellar StoryLab builds on foundational storytelling skills while introducing space and astronomy themes, turning children into Space Storytellers as they explore stars, planets, and cosmic adventures through guided creative storytelling. Students collaborate to create a shared space-based story world, invent characters, and craft scenes inspired by astronomy concepts. Participants also help update our own authored children’s astronomy books, giving them a real-world glimpse into the creative editing process.

Children explore simple prompting exercises to see how descriptive language shapes AI-generated illustrations. Public speaking is introduced through coached story sharing to build confidence presenting ideas. 


Participants who join the public speaking portion will also experience a short Virtual Reality astronomy journey, allowing them to explore space in an immersive, awe-inspiring environment.
